Deputies elected to Parliament from Kazakhstan People's Assembly report on their activity

ASTANA. October 26. KAZINFORM. /Valentina Yelizarova/ Deputy of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Kairat Saduakassov has presented a report on the activity of the deputies elected to the Parliament from the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan at the extended sitting of the Assembly's Council in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

"Out of eight considered draft laws three were introduced by the deputies from the Assembly", he said. He noted that the representatives of the People's Assembly sent more than 360 letters in various state bodies. A number of issues concerning the activity of the ethnic-cultural centers were addressed.

The participants were also informed of the work of the scientific-expert council created at the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan under the Kazakhstan People's Assembly. The council consists of the leading experts in the sphere of interethnic relations.

As is known, nine deputies from the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan work in the Majilis.
