Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan arrived in Brussels

BRUSSELS. March 16. KAZINFORM Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Aleksey Volkov has arrived in Brussels to participate in the regular meeting of the national coordinators of Central Asian countries on cooperation with the EU.

Those attending will focus on regional security cooperation issues under the EU Strategy for Central Asia, preparations for the forthcoming ministerial conference "European Union-Central Asia" set for this June in Bishkek, and energy and ecological issues.

Besides, Volkov is scheduled to meet with Managing Director for Russia, Eastern
Neighbourhood and Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajčák and EEAS Director for Russia, Eastern
Partnership, Central Asia, and Regional Cooperation Gunnar Wiegand.
