Development banks can play key role in case of new wave of global crisis - Kelimbetov

TANA. November 9. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ In case of new wave of economic crisis development banks will play a key role in the economy, Kazakh Minister of Economic Development and Trade Kairat Kelimbetov said at the conference devoted to 10th anniversary of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.

According to him, DBK plays an important role in the SCO Interbank Association, which includes the world's biggest banks such as Vnesheconombank (Russia), China Development Bank.

"I think that in the future such powerful financial institutions can play a key role in case of new wave of global crisis," Kelimbetov noted.
