Development of Almaty energy complex discussed
ALMATY. April 10. KAZINFORM. /Dauren Zhailin/ ?Much attention is paid to the development of Almaty power complex?, Akim A. Yessimov said at the sitting on the issues of urban development under the chairmanship of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Almaty yesterday.
According to the Mayor, about KZT 46 billion was budgeted in energy sector last year. ?It allowed to decrease damage rate and increase overall production of electric energy by 15%. Water supply system increased revenues from KZT 3.5 to 10.6 billion. Due to it KZT 3.2 billion will be allotted to repair and construction works?, Almaty Akim said.
The Head of the State supported these measures. He noted that Kazakhstan consumes drink water unconscionably. ?We should learn how to save water?, N. Nazarbayev added.
