Development of strategic coop between Kazakhstan and Japan discussed in Tokyo

ASTANA. November 11. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Akylbek Kamaldinov has met with one of Japanese outstanding politicians, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament Takahiro Yokomichi today, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reports.

The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, emphasized the importance of promotion of the strategic partnership between the two states in the political, trade and economic spheres.

The interlocutors agreed that the coming visit of Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov to Japan would give impetus to the relations between Kazakhstan and Japan and promote more active interaction between the legislative authorities of the two states.

The Kazakh diplomat also informed the Japanese politician on the preparation process to the OSCE Summit in Astana.
