On July 10, Serbia experienced a true energy explosion as Novi Sad celebrated the birthday of the man who invented the 20th century – Nikola Tesla, Kazinform News Agency quotes dimashnews.com.

While in the past Tesla’s Tower transmitted electricity wirelessly across transatlantic distances, on the birthday of the genius inventor, the largest festival in Southeastern Europe, EXIT, gathered all the creative energy on one stage.

The EXIT Festival takes place in a unique location. The Petrovaradin Fortress, known as the “Gibraltar on the Danube,” is one of the best-preserved fortifications in Europe. Today, it hosts about a hundred art studios, as well as restaurants, cafes, museums, and galleries.

The EXIT Festival has been around for more than 20 years, and in 2024 it once again ranks among the Top 10 best festivals in the world as voted by DJ Mag readers.

The headliners of the festival’s opening were Dimash Qudaibergen and Burak Yeter, who is among the top 100 best DJs in the world. Undoubtedly, the most festive piece in Dimash’s repertoire is “Weekend” – a joint track by the Turkish and Kazakh musicians, and it was performed to thunderous applause from thousands of spectators on the festival’s opening day.

Charged with the energy of the exciting atmosphere of the festival, the guests no less warmly accepted Dimash’s song “When I’ve got you”, which in a special magnetic way captured the Tesla Universe Stage on this festival night.
