People's Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Kudaibergen donated 20 million tenge to 20 families of deceased miners in Karaganda. Poet and journalist Bauyrzhan Babazhanuly announced this on his Instagram account, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The grief of 46 people killed in the Kostenko mine accident in Karaganda has not been forgotten yet. Both the state and businessmen lend a helping hand to their families. Famous singer Dimash Kudaibergen did not ignore them too. Yesterday he transferred one million tenge [$2,165.83 - edit] to each of 20 families with minor children, whose fathers had died in that accident. I accidentally heard this news, and phoned Kanat [Dimash Kudaibergen’s father - edit] and he confirmed this information, the publication reads.

As Bauyrzhan Babazhanuly noted, the Aitbayev family usually does not disclose such information, but he noted that the entire country should know about it.

Kazinform editors contacted the Aitbaev family too, and they confirmed the information. The money was transferred to the account of Korgau Trade Union of Coalminers public association
