Diseases of circulatory system leader of total mortality and disability among Kazakhstan's population

ASTANA. October 24. KAZINFORM - Diseases of the circulatory system are the leaders in the structure of total morbidity, mortality and disability of the population of Kazakhstan, said the director of the Department of Treatment and Prevention of Kazakhstan's Health Ministry Azhar Tulegalieva.

Such diseases are one of the cause of disability and are high social burden on the society. That is why the government pays great attention to prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease, said A.Tulegalieva at the I Congress of neurologists in Astana.

According to her, screening for early detection of the circulatory system among the population in the country has been carried out since 2008. "Within the timely adoption of industry development programs in cardiology and cardiac surgery throughout the country cardiology and cardiac surgery centers have already been working for the period of 3 years. The issue of free medicine to ensure patients has been resolved for today ", concluded A.Tulegalieva.
