Doctors from South Korea arrive in the Aral Sea region

Leading specialists from the Inha University Hospital are performing surgical operations at the Karakalpak Medical Institute clinic, UzA reports.

In August this year, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Karakalpak Medical Institute and the Inha University Hospital. In this regard, the Hospital’s professors plan to perform operations on ten children with congenital orthopedic defects this December.

The first operation was successful.

Along with Korean specialists, doctors, nurses and students of the Medical Institute of Karakalpakstan are participating in them.

As part of this cooperation, professors from Korea will read reports on important issues for students and conduct masterclasses on orthopedic surgery.
