Documentary on Melania Trump to be released on Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Prime Video has announced the upcoming release of an exclusive documentary about Melania Trump, the re-incoming First Lady of the United States, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The documentary, which will also hit theaters, is scheduled for the second half of 2025.
According to an Amazon spokesperson, the documentary will offer an "unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look" at Melania Trump. The project will be produced by Melania Trump herself, alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media. Brett Ratner will also join in as the director of the movie, which began filming in December 2024.
"Amazon Prime Video has exclusively licensed an upcoming documentary film for both theatrical and streaming release that will give viewers an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at First Lady Melania Trump. The project is executive produced by Fernando Sulichin (New Element Media) and Mrs. Trump - with Brett Ratner (RatPac Entertainment) attached to direct. Filming began in December 2024, with an anticipated release in the second half of 2025. Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalized," the Amazon spokesperson said in the statement.
Mrs. Trump and her husband, President-elect Donald Trump, have not yet commented on the documentary since the announcement. However, as shared by the spokesperson, Amazon is “excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world.”
This documentary is another high-profile project for Melania Trump, who recently has also made headlines with her memoir.
