ASTANA. December 22. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ A domestic gas explosion has occurred in one of the apartments of a residential building in Astana, there were injured people. Chief Specialist of the press service of the emergencies department of the city of Astana Bibigul Yesmaganbetova told a Kazinform correspondent.

"I want to note that it is not a terroristic act. It was the domestic gas explosion. There were injured people, the exact number is under definition. They were hospitalized," Bibigul Yesmaganbetova said.

According to her, an interior door caught a fire. The fire covered an area of three square meters.
