Dozens of Kazakhstani nationals evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Egypt
92 nationals of Kazakhstan and members of their families have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Egypt, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The first stage of evacuation through the Rafah border crossing from the Gaza Strip to Egypt has been completed. The Kazakhstani diplomats rendered all necessary consular and psychological assistance to our compatriots being repatriated from the area.
After going through all necessary procedures on the Gaza Strip and Egypt border, they are on their way to Cairo.
The Kazakhstani diplomats will continue to work with Israeli, Egyptian and Palestinian authorities as well as international organizations to ensure repatriation of our nationals from the anclave.
A special repatriation flight will be organized by the Kazakh Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
