E.Idrisov and Norwegian Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Energy will discuss holding Expo-2017
"There is a series of bilateral meetings scheduled during the meeting with the Vice President of Storting (Parliament) Marit Nyubak, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, as well as with other social and political leaders in Norway. Cooperation in the political, economic, trade and energy sectors, as well as cooperation on important international issues will be taken into consideration. During the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, the two heads of foreign ministers will discuss topical issues of the international agenda, including nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, the situation in Afghanistan and Syria, " said Zh.Usenov.
He also said that after the meeting it is expected to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two ministries, the purpose of which is the launch of the Intergovernmental Commission between the two countries.
During the talks with the Vice President of Storting Norwegian the parties will look at the issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation between our countries, as well as the initiative of the two countries on non-proliferation and disarmament.
At the negotiations of Kazakhstan's Minister Idrisov with the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Energy the parties will consider the prospects for "EXPO-2017" international exhibition in Astana, and will talk over the possibility of transferring Norwegian experience in energy efficiency, environmental protection and "green" technologies.
The visit is to concluded with the speech of Yerlan Idrisov at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs on the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation, as well as current trends in international politics.
