E Kazakhstan starts construction of 3 power lines and 2 substations

The Kazakh President's initiative outlined in his Nurly Zhol Address will streamline electric power supplies, increase possibility of power exchange and consequently eliminate power shortage, power engineers believe. Construction of a new powerful substation started in Semey. 200 new poles and 20 kilometers of electricity transmission lines were already built. Besides, three power lines and two 500 kW substations should be put on-stream in 2018 in the territory of the East Kazakhstan region.
