Earthquake felt near Almaty city

An earthquake was recorded 88km from Almaty city, Kazinform News Agency reports.   

According to the press service of Almaty region's emergency situations department, the quake originated within Kazakhstan 88km north of Almaty city. It was recorded at 11:23pm Astana time.

The earthquake was measured at a 3-magnitude in Konayev, a 2-magnitude in Alatau town (Zhetygen) and a 2-magnitude in Kurty village.
