Earthquake hits 148 km from Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 8.9 on the MPV scale was recorded 148 km south-west from Almaty.

The epicenter of the quake was located in the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

As previously reported, yesterday Almaty residents felt a magnitude 2-3 earthquake, the epicenter of which was on the territory of Almaty. No casualties were reported then.
