Earthquake hits 360 km away from Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The Network of Seismic Stations of the Ministry of Education and Science registered an earthquake at 09:32 a.m. Almaty time on May 12, Kazinform reports.

"The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the territory of China, 360 km south-east of Almaty," the report said.

The energy class of the earthquake was 9.6. MPV magnitude was 4.2. The focal depth was 15km.
