Earthquake hits 364km southeast of Almaty

The epicenter of the quake was 364 kilometers southeast of Almaty, in the territory of China, a Kazinform correspondent reports.

According the Seismological Stations Network of the Ministry of Emergencies, the quake was recorded January 19, at 11:30 am.

The coordinates of the epicenter are 41.202 north latitude and 80.387 east longitude.

No tremors were felt in the territory of Kazakhstan.

On January 17, earthquake was felt in Almaty and Zhetysu regions of Kazakhstan.
