Earthquake hits 617km away from Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 5.1 on MPV scale hit 617km southwest of Almaty, in the territory of Tajikistan, Kazinform learned from the seismological stations network of the Ministry of Emergencies.

The quake occurred December 6, at 22:03pm Almaty time.

The coordinates of the epicenter are 39.12° north latitude, 71.92°east longitude.
