Earthquake shakes central Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake has been recorded near Zhezkazgan tonight, Kazinform reports.

The quake with the epicenter in central Kazakhstan was registered 24 km northwest of Zhezkazgan city.

It hit at the depth of 1 km at 2:18 a.m. Astana time.
