Earthquake shakes Kazakhstan

An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the MPV scale has been recorded in eastern Kazakhstan by a network of seismic stations, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The epicenter of the quake was located in the territory of Kazakhstan, 915km northeast of Almaty city.

It was recorded at 7:44 a.m. Almaty time at a depth of 20km.
