Earthquake struck southwest of Almaty city

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the MPV scale has been registered by a group of seismological stations near Almaty city this morning.

The quake hit the territory of Uzbekistan, 512 kilometers southwest of Almaty city.

It struck at the depth of 5 kilometers at 1:17 a.m. Almaty time.
