EBRD ready to finance waste recycling plant construction in Kazakhstan
BAKU. KAZINFORM - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is ready to finance the construction of a waste recycling plant in the Kazakh city of Almaty, Kazakh prime minister's web site reported on Jan. 28.

The announcement was made by Kazakh Minister of Environment and Water Resources Nurlan Kapparov on the sidelines of a government meeting.
Kazakhstan needs to create a system of integrated management of solid waste collection which will control all waste collection companies, waste treatment plants and landfills for at least 15 years, he said.
The system should implement a clear tariff policy, according to Kapparov, Kazinform refers to trend.az.
The Minister stressed that at the initial stage Kazakhstan will use a dual container system for collecting waste: edible wastes and inedible material.
