ECO commend Kazakh President?s initiative to create single world currency

ASTANA. March 11. KAZINFORM. Member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization commend Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s initiative on creation of a single world currency under the aegis of the United Nations; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Prime Minister?s press service.

Making a speech at the sitting of the 10th ECO Summit in Tehran Prime Minister Karim Massimov called on heads of the states and governments of the member countries for supporting the Kazakh President?s initiative to create a single currency. The participants of the Summit welcomed the initiative aimed at stabilizing financial and economic systems and agreed to use as an early step the currency of ECO member countries for bilateral and multilateral trade operations as the most efficient and reliable financial instruments.
