TEHRAN. March 11. KAZINFORM. /Yernur Akanbai/ Kazakhstan agrees with the fact that the Economic Cooperation Organization has great potential in the sphere of regional energy. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan has made it public at the 10th ECO Summit in Tehran today.

The Premier emphasized that the unique geographic position of the ECO states needs activation of energy and transport cooperation development. ?Our country backs the program of ECO development till 2015?, he said. ?Kazakhstan also supports the program of the ECO aimed at activating the private sector. In this context we have to think over holding of a business forum with the participation of the ECO states? businessmen?, Mr. Massimov added.
