EEC Council debated CU and Single Economic Space urgent issues
ASTANA. KAZINFORM First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev attended the regular sitting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the PM's press service said.
The meeting addressed the urgent issues concerning further development of the Customs Union (CU) and Single Economic Space. It was also decided to exempt 90-seat aircrafts brought into Kazakhstan starting from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017 from customs duties. The sides also agreed on developing national components of marking system of some types of products of light industry, expediency of concluding of a free trade area agreement between the CU member states and Egypt. Besides, they focused on Kyrgyzstan's accession to the CU and Single Economic Space and establishment of the EEU court.
