EEC discussed issues of informational cooperation between customs bodies of EEU member-states

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Member of the board on customs cooperation Vladimir Goshin held the fourth sitting of the Consultation Committee on cooperation of customs bodies of the EEU member-states, the press service of the EEU informs.

The issues regarding establishing informational cooperation between the customs bodies of the EEU countries as well as the other issues of the sphere were discussed at the sitting.

V. Goshin noted the necessity of amendments to the draft Customs Code of the EEU norms providing for the information received by customs bodies of EEU member-states from authorized agencies of the other member-countries of the union and the necessity of organization of informational cooperation between the countries of the union.

The members of the committee approved the main principles of the proposed informational cooperation. Besides, at the sitting, the concept of the common process on formation, introduction and use of information and reference list of checkpoints on the borders of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space member states and draft resolutions of the EEC and EEC Council were approved.
