In line with this decision, the Trade Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission will post quarterly reports on the restrictive measures on the website.

As of early November 2012, twenty countries applied 120 restrictive measures against the Customs Union member states. There were 19 measures against Belarus (12 of them were economic sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union and Canada), 17 restrictive measures were imposed on Kazakhstan and 80 on Russia. Four measures targeted goods from the Customs Union in general.

Over half of the restrictive measures (54%) were anti-dumping measures. They usually imply an increased import duty.

Third of the restrictive measures (40) were imposed by the CIS member states, of them 80% were introduced by Ukraine (17) and Uzbekistan (15).
