Egypt denies inviting Israeli FM to visit
CAIRO, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said Thursday that the hawkish Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman was not invited to visit Egypt during the country's intelligence chief's stay in Jerusalem, Kazinform refers to Xinhuanet.

"Egypt only invites the Israeli prime minister to pay a visit, in order to boost the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks," the ministry said in a statement.
"The reports carried by Israeli media, which said that the intelligence chief has invited Lieberman to visit Egypt in their meeting, are inaccurate," it added.
Israeli media reported on Wednesday that Suleiman, the pointman of Israeli-Palestinian talks, has invited during his brief visit to the Jewish country Israel's top diplomat to visit Egypt despite his sour relations with the Arab country, Kazinform cites Xinhuanet.
