Egypt keen on examining Kazakhstan’s best practices in social sphere

Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Egypt Kairat Lama Sharif met with newly appointed Minister of Social Cooperation of Egypt Maya Morsy, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh MFA. 

During the conversation, the Kazakh diplomat presented the agenda of the sixth joint meeting of the Kazakh-Egyptian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and scientific-technical cooperation, which is planned to be held in Astana in 2025. Minister Morsy stated that she would take an active part in this process and shared information about the social protection system of Egypt called “Solidarity and Dignity” (Takaful wa Karama).

In addition, during the meeting, the Egyptian side was informed that since the beginning of the year, more than 200,000 people have received public services in Kazakhstan through the digital family card, as well as about the use of rehabilitation centers in the field of social protection of the population, the public-private partnership mechanisms.
