Electrometallurgical plant to be built in Aksu - Pavlodar region

PAVLODAR REGION. March 21. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ A new metallurgical works is planned to be built in the industrial part of Aksu town soon.

As the municipal department for architecture and urban planning says, Aksu Electrometallurgical Plant LLP will draft a detailed plan and will perform all necessary paper work.

The first stage of construction is to begin in March 2012. The design capacity of the steel-making complex is 500 thousand tons of steel billets per year. The second stage of construction is scheduled for 2017.

Over 1, 500 people will be provided with jobs at the plant.
