Electronic services can be provided through public access networks

ASTANA. October 30. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Within the framework of the E-government state program implementation the Kazakh Agency for Informatization and Communication organized public access networks. It was said at the fourth international conference "E-government's initiatives" with participation of Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov.

Implementation of the project "Public access networks" started in 2006.

The public access networks were created for development of the Kazakh segment of Internet among the population, enhancing equitable access to the state and other information resources, ensuring interaction of the citizens and the bodies. It is directed to liquidation of information inequality between urban and rural residents and etc.
