Elena Rybakina secures win at World Tennis League 2024 in Abu Dhabi

World No. 6 Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan secured a victory at the World Tennis League 2024 in Abu Dhabi, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

The World Tennis League brought together tennis players from all over the world.

A total of four teams took part in the event.

Team Falcons includes Andrey Rublev (Russia), Denis Shapovalov (Canada), Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan), Caroline Garcia (France).

Team Eagles includes Alexander Shevchenko (Kazakhstan), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), Iga Swiatek (Poland), Paula Badosa (Spain).

Team Kites includes Nick Kyrgios (Australia), Casper Ruud (Norway), Simona Halep (Romania), Jasmine Paolini (Italy).

Team Hawks includes Jordan Thompson (Australia), Sumit Nagal (India), Mirra Andreeva (Russia), Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus).

Thus, Team Falcons won the title, defeating Team Hawks in the final match of the tournament.

Earlier it was announced that Tennis Europe had named Ansar Niyetkaliyev of Kazakhstan ‘Best foreign player of 2024.’
