Emergencies ministry to tighten control over EXPO-2017 construction site
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergencies is to tighten control over construction sites in the capital city - Astana.

Emergencies Minister Vladimir Bozhko announced the news at the government's hour at Majilis, lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament. According to the minister, with so many construction sites in Astana, the number of fatal accidents is likely to grow. Construction of the EXPO-2017 facilities is about to begin and the ministry is to tighten control there as well. "Right now we are trying to figure out how to ensure safety at the EXPO-2017 construction site," Minister Bozhko added.
