Emergency medical service always be free for Kazakhstanis - PM

TANA. November 28. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Emergency medical service for Kazakhstanis will always be free. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has announced at the Government's session.

The Premier asked Minister of Healthcare Salidat Kairbekova to clear up a situation on the issue, which has recently strongly troubles the society, - payment of emergency call for the citizens. The Healthcare Minister informed that within the Salamatty Kazakhstan program it is foreseen introduction of co-payment, but it does not relate to emergency medical service.

"Let's clearly define the issue, that emergency medical service will always be free for the citizens. And there can be no discussion on this issue," K.Massimov said.
