Erne attacks photo reporter

TALDYKORGAN. February 16. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duisenova/ Erne attacked photo reporter of one of the national newspapers yesterday during the erne national contest ?Sonar-2009? taken place in Talgar district of Almaty region, Kazinform refers to the Department of Physical Culture and Sport.

According to eye-witnesses it happened during a run of the erne on the hare. The erne rose up and suddenly having changed his flight attacked a group of photo-reporters standing on the field. One of them could dodge and the erne attacked the back of another one. Fortunately, the photo-reporter escaped with slight fright and damaged jacket. In total, 48 bird owners with 39 ernes and 9 falcons from 5 regions of Kazakhstan took part in the contest. Among erne owners Kanat Shulenbayev from Akmola region, Ayan Seitzhanov from Almaty region won, Kuanysh Isabekov from Almaty region and Alip Torenbekov from Karaganda region won first, second and third places respectively. Among falcon owners Meirambek Zeinellov from Almaty region won the first place, the second place winner is Bauyrzhan Yeshmetov from Zhambyl region and third place winner is Bauyrzhan Turniyazov from Zhambyl region.
