Essential to introduce future energy theory into schools, view
ASTANA. KAZINFORM Goethe Institute Kazakhstan held a conference themed "Future schools, future energy. Solar power school construction projects" within preparations for EXPO 2017.

Taking the floor, Almut Tharan, expert at the Berlin independent institute of environmental issues, placed an accent on school projects associated with solar power, broadly, integration of this issue into school subjects as computer studies, physics, social science, etc. As representative of the German Embassy in Kazakhstan Ruben Schwarz said, Kazakhstan is keen to increase the share of renewable energy sources up to 50%, while Germany sets a goal to reach 80% share of energy alternatives. "Kazakhstan establishes an ambitious goal but it is attainable," he added. It is noteworthy, 775 schools of Germany installed renewable energy sources so far.
