Ethnic cultural unions should participate in state language development - Akim of Zhambyl region

ZHAMBYL REGION. December 14. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ Ethnic cultural unions should take activate part in development of the state language. Akim of Zhambyl region Kanat Bozumbayev has said it at the meeting with the directors of Zhambyl ethnic and cultural centers today.

"At the XV session of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan the President set specific tasks before the regional ethnic-cultural centers - continue multilateral discussion of the draft Doctrine of National Unity of Kazakhstan, strengthen the coordinating role of the secretariat, activate work with youth on the issues of patriotic education, interethnic and interconfessional concord", the Akim noted.

He said that in accordance with the President's instructions the state bodies pay much attention to the issues of expansion of state support to ethnic-cultural unions.

The Akim congratulated the directors of the unions on Independence Day.
