Ethnic villages to be built in Akmola region on the occasion of EXPO-2017
ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM Governor of the Akmola region Kosman Aitmukhametov announced construction of special ethnic auls (villages) on the occasion of the EXPO-2017 event in Astana.

"The construction of the ethnic villages in the region is dated to the upcoming International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 in the Kazakh capital," he told a press conference at the Central Communications Service Friday.
Governor Aitmukhametov also noted that seven districts of the Akmola region have great potential for tourism development.
"Ethnic villages projects are being developed in Tselinogradsk, Arshalinsk and Korgalzhynsk districts within the preparations for the EXPO-2017," Mr. Aitmukhametov added.
In his words, these auls will familiarize tourists with culture and traditions of the Kazakh people.
