EU High Representative travels to Mid East

BRUSSELS. January 5. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ The EU High representative for Common Foreign Policy and Security Policy Javier Solana visits Mid East countries on January 4-8, Kazinform refers to J. Solana?s press service.

Mr. Solana is expected to make a visit to Egypt, Israel, Palestinian territories and Jordan together with a delegation of the European Union to discuss current situation in Gaza Strip and in the southern part of Israel with the leaders of the region. After then he will visit Syria and Lebanon to meet with the leadership of these countries.
