EU highly praises contribution of Kazakhstan to strengthening of regional security - N. Bulte

BRUSSELS. KAZINFORM - The European Union highly praises contribution of Kazakhstan to strengthening of regional security within the dialogue of a high level - EU-CA on the issues of security, representative of the European External Action Service of Nicolas Bulte told at the meeting with the journalists in Brussels press club.

"Security and aspects of stability are relatively new measurements of the relations of the EU with the Central Asia countries and with Kazakhstan in particular. We see that Kazakhstan is one of active participants of cooperation with the EU in terms of the issues of security and stability," he said.

According to him, the EU highly praises contribution of Kazakhstan to strengthening of the regional security including the issues of effective control of borders, prevention of drug-trafficking and fighting against extremism and terrorism. In this regard, Brussels hopes for development of the cooperation in regional and bilateral formats.
