EU interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan: Tomas Pojar

ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Marat Tazhin has held a meeting with First Deputy of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Tomas Pojar in Astana; Kazinform reports.

The Czech diplomat noted that within the meeting they discussed issues of economic cooperation and some issues of bilateral relations. T.Pojar noted that the visit was aimed at holding bilateral negotiations. ?Jointly with Kazakhstan we work upon increase of a level of our economic cooperation and contractual basis?, he emphasized. ?As the representative of the European Union I can announce that the EU is interested in development of cooperation with Kazakhstan within the framework of the Czech chairmanship?, the diplomat noted. Besides, within the nearest five months working meetings on different levels will be held in Astana and Brussels. ?We hope that these meetings will give specific results useful for Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic and the EU?, T.Pojar said.
