MINSK. April 19. KAZINFORM   The decision on the next tranche of the EurAsEC AntiCrisis Fund (ACF) loan for Belarus might be taken at a meeting of the CIS Council of Finance Ministers in Astana in May, First Deputy Finance Minister of Belarus Vladimir Amarin told media on 19 April.

"The work on parameters defined by our program is under way. In May Astana will host meetings of the CIS Council of Finance Ministers and the Council of the EurAsEC AntiCrisis Fund which is expected to consider the issue," Vladimir Amarin said, BelTA reports.

In his words, Belarus has fulfilled all conditions stipulated in the program. According to Vladimir Amarin, the tranche which was expected in February was delayed due to objective reasons: a management shuffle in the ACF Council.

The official noted that Belarus' privatization program has been left intact, with the total sum defined at $2.5 billion. "This is what we have got in the program," he said. Any company might be privatized given favorable terms; only then privatization will bring benefits.
