EurAsEC to establish International High-Tech Center
MOSCOW. February 5. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Heads of the EurAsEC member states signed an agreement on establishment of the International Center of High Technologies. Its aim will be implementation of scientific-technical programs, innovation and venture projects on the territory of the community; Kazinform reports.
According to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, ?activity of the center should strengthen competitive advantages of our countries and economies?. ?Besides, such projects help diversify our economic potential, because we have to deal not only with raw material sector?, the President added.
A number of organizations of the EurAsEC states will become cofounder of High-Tech Center. Chiefs of appropriate ministries and departments will gain a status of observers.
