Eurasiadoc opens doors for Kazakh screenwriters and producers

ALMATY. March 13. KAZINFORM An international movie workshop Eurasiadoc organized by Ecran libre and Ardeche images (France) and financed by the European Union is underway in Almaty.

Ecran libre and Ardeche images have been cooperating with their partners in Central Asia, Caucasus and Russia for a while. The workshop is held annually in one of the abovementioned regions in order to implement interesting documentary projects.

The two-week seminar in Almaty has brought together ten young screenwriters and directors from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

Authors of the most successful documentaries selected at Eurasiadoc workshop will attend the Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Yerevan, Armenia, and get a chance to meet European and local producers and TV companies.
