As an integration project the Eurasian Economic Union envisages the freedom of trade in merchandise and services, free flows of capital and workforce. "If the integration project is launched from the angle we expect, it will increase the trade turnover, the GDP. No doubt it will increase the wellbeing of citizens," said the MP.

During the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council the presidents of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan confirmed their intention to ink the treaty on founding the Eurasian Economic Union in May 2014 at the latest.
