Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting held in Moscow

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM. - Today Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has taken part in the first session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Moscow.

The Council's session was held with the participation of heads of government of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. During the round table the heads of governments discussed the most topical issues and prospects of the Eurasian Economic Union including the approaches to the development of trade and economic cooperation of the EEU with its key partners. In addition, the heads of governments discussed the funding of the pilot project on introduction of labeling of goods and the development of the concept of the Eurasian engineering center for machine tools. The Council have been signed a decree on the draft protocol provided by the agreement on Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Treaty on the EEU. It should be noted that the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union is set for May 29 in Burabai resort area in Kazakhstan.
