Eurasian security community and role of OSCE to be discussed in Almaty
ALMATY. September 26. KAZINFORM Almaty is set to host an international conference on the Eurasian Security Community and the Role of OSCE in early October.

The conference scheduled on October 3 is organized by the OSCE Center in Astana and Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies in conjunction with the embassies of Ukraine and Switzerland in Kazakhstan.
Strengthening of the Eurasian security community and countering transnational threats and challenges, including those related to the situation in Afghanistan and region on the whole, illicit drug trafficking, arms trafficking, illegal migration, human trafficking, and extremism will be in the focus of the event.
High-level international and Central Asian experts, representatives of nongovernmental organizations and diplomats posted in Kazakhstan are expected to attend the conference.
