Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering might supply EU145 helicopters to Belarus
At present the company is studying the demand for this machinery in Belarus. On 26 June top executives of Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering will meet with representatives of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry, Interior Ministry and Healthcare Ministry that might be interested in EC145 helicopters. Karybai Ablezov is confident that these ministries will seriously consider purchasing the helicopters.
Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering was established in April 2011 upon the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan. The project to assemble helicopters is implemented on a parity basis by Kazakhstan Engineering and Eurocopter. This is the only factory in the CIS that assembles EC 145 helicopters and has the first training center in the Russian language, BelTA reports.
Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering has plans to penetrate the markets of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
