Eurovision 2009 winner may be announced from orbit
MOSCOW. May 14. KAZINFORM Eurovision-2009 hosts will speak to the crew of the International Space Station (ISS) during the final on May 16, and some mass media have already reported that the song contest winner might be announced from the orbit, Kazinform reefrs to ITAR-TASS.

?We will not disclose all secrets. But TV viewers in Europe will see a magnificent show. I can only say that we will speak to the space station,? song contest musical producer Yuri Aksyuta told a press conference on Wednesday.
It is also known that Eurovision-2008 winner Dima Bilan of Russia will be one of the key figures in the final show.
He will be involved in the ceremony to be held at Moscow?s Olympiisky sport complex on May 16, Cannel One Director-General Konstantin Ernst said on Monday, lifting the veil of secrecy from some of the surprises in the final show.
Channel One and the European Broadcasting Union are the organisers of Eurovision-2009.
?The life story of a boy will be told and replayed between the performances. The boy dreamed about singing from childhood, he worked hard to achieve his goal and won the Eurovision contest. Dima Bilan will be the prototype of that boy,? Ernst said.
Showman Ivan Urgant and singer Alsou will host the final.
The other details of the show have not been disclosed.
Eurovision-2009 has already gone down in history as the most expensive show in its history. Forty-two countries will participate. The costs are so big that the organisers say they cannot be recouped.
?The contest will be loss-making for Moscow. But Olympic Games, the Cannes festival and other events of such magnitude are always loss-making. We simply want the city to enjoy this holiday of songs,? Ernst said.
Semi-finals will be held on May 12 and May 14, the final on the night from May 16 to May 17. The opening ceremony held on May 10 involved over 5,000 people.
Russia is hosting Eurovision for the first time. More than a thousand songs have been sung at the contest over its 54-year history. Last year, almost nine million people wound the world voted in the contest. More than 100 million people watch the show every year, Kazinform cites ITAR-TASS.
